Gad continued, "I'm in the midst of going through the script right now with the studio, who's been incredibly supportive about finding those things that can reduce it to a greenlight-able budget because, right now, it's a period piece, it's a biopic, it's just super big, and we're just working towards doing this to it, and I think we're getting there." Former teen idol Shaun Cassidy had to relearn his own hits for first major tour in 45 yearsNew Foto - Former teen idol Shaun Cassidy had to relearn his own hits for first major tour in 45 years

Former teen idol Shaun Cassidy is embarking on his first major tour in 45 years. The 66-year-old son of Oscar-winning actress Shirley Jones, 91, and the late Tony Award-winning actor Jack Cassidy rose to fame in the mid-to-late 1970s as a pop star after following in the footsteps of his late half brother,David Cassidy. At the same time, Cassidy also found success as an actor, starring as Joe Hardy in the hit ABC series "The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries." However, he stepped back from the spotlight decades ago to focus on a career behind the scenes as a television writer and producer. Now, Cassidy is returning to the public eye as he launches his first arena tour since 1980. David Cassidy's Brother Says It Was 'Terribly Hard' Watching 'Partridge Family' Star Battle Alcoholism During an interview withPeople magazine,Cassidy revealed that he has been brushing up on his guitar skills and relearning his own hits as he prepares to hit the road once again. Read On The Fox News App "I literally had to take guitar lessons. I hadn't played guitar in so long," he said. "I had to relearn songs I had written. I didn't know how to play them." For his upcoming tour, Cassidy told the outlet that he is taking the fresh challenge of playing bass instead of guitar. He also shared thathis old songsfeel new to him after his decadeslong hiatus from performing. "Because I haven't been singing them for 40 years, they're not dead to me. They feel new, and I'm only singing the songs I really liked back then that feel appropriate to me singing now," Cassidy said. "I can sing better than I sang when I was 20 because I haven't been singing. I think I didn't burn my voice out for 40 years." Cassidy's 50-city "The Road to Us Tour," the longest of his career, will kick off Sept. 13 at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. The singer told People that the tour will span his full career, featuring classic hits, new music and personal stories. The setlist will include Cassidy's cover of "Da Doo Ron Ron," originally a 1963 song by the girl group The Crystals. "Da Doo Ron Ron" was the first single released from Cassidy's self-titled debut album in 1977. The song became Cassidy's first major hit, topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart and helping him earn aGrammy Awardnomination for best new artist. However, Cassidy told People that "Da Doo Ron Ron" wasn't his choice for the single that would launch his music career. Like What You're Reading? Click Here For More Entertainment News "I liked the song. It was my idea to record it," Cassidy said. "But that wasn't the song I wanted to be the first single off my album," he continued. "I didn't get a vote, and I guess they were right. It went to No. 1. It was a big record, but there were like three or four other songs I would've preferred or chosen. And by the way, that's been the case with every record I've made." Despite being raised in ashow business family,Cassidy admitted that he was never really comfortable in the limelight during his time as a teen heartthrob. "I've never enjoyed being a public figure. I don't like all the attention. I'm basically an introvert. I don't really like being famous," he told People. "But the only thing more ridiculous than being famous is being formerly famous, because you're still famous, but a lot of people don't necessarily know why anymore. And if it were up to me, I'd prefer neither of those things." Click Here To Sign Up For The Entertainment Newsletter "For years, I was like, I don't want to [tour] because I'll just be trying to replicate some version of myself at 20, which I always thought would be embarrassing and why try?" Cassidy said. "But I discovered, and the audience told me this, that I didn't need to do that because I had actually all these other cards I could play," he added. "Now I'm a storyteller." By the mid-1990s, Cassidy had shifted almost completely to behind the scenes in Hollywood. For the past few decades, he has worked as a television writer and producer, launching shows including "American Gothic," "Roar" and"New Amsterdam." While speaking with People, Cassidy acknowledged that the trajectory of his career was unusual. "It's a weird résumé," he said. "I don't know anybody else that plays the Houston Astrodome for 55,000 people, says, 'Goodnight and see you soon,' and then doesn't show up again for 40 years, but that's kind of what I did." "I think I'm the luckiest person in the world that I can do that," Cassidy added. Original article source:Former teen idol Shaun Cassidy had to relearn his own hits for first major tour in 45 years

Brendan Fraser gets emotional over "Rental Family" themes: 'We need to see this movie now more than ever'

Searchlight Pictures Brendan Fraseris the kind of actor who tends to wear his heart on his sleeve, and he did so again at the premiere of his new film,Rental Family, at theToronto International Film Festival. On Saturday night, after the audience of the Royal Alexandra Theatre roared in a standing ovation for Fraser and his director, Hikari (Beef,37 Seconds), the star became visibly choked up talking about the themes ofRental Family. "I was late to the meeting in Manhattan and I couldn't find parking," Fraser said of connecting with Hikari about the film, noting how they must've talked for 6-8 hours — "or so, long enough for it to start to feel a bit chilly." "I learned about her life, about her aspirations, her interests, her unique experience of coming to America, and what that meant about the family that we find, and it not necessarily being the one that we're born into sometimes," Fraser continued. "I was perplexed and mystified and invigorated in all the best ways possible for meeting Hikari. And then..." Dominik Bindl/Getty After a brief pause, he said, "Hey, I knew this story is unique. It's something that we need to see on screen." Feeling the emotion, Fraser finished, "And correct me if I'm wrong, I think we need to see this movie now more than ever these days." The film follows Philip (Fraser), a lonely American actor living in Tokyo who's looking for connection. Failing to land his big break, he's offered a job with a "rental family" agency, a service that tasks actors to take on stand-in roles in their clients' lives for the purpose of helping them through challenges. On any given day, Philip can be found playing the role of a journalist profiling an elderly Japanese actor to make him feel significant, a "sad American" at a fake funeral for a man who needed to feel important, or the returning absentee dad to a little girl who's been struggling emotionally without her actual father in the picture. It's through this morally complex work that Philip rediscovers his own purpose and sense of belonging.Rental Family, premiering in theaters Nov. 21, also stars Takehiro Hira, Mari Yamamoto, Shannon Gorman, and Akira Emoto. "I came to America when I was 17 for the first time, and I landed in Utah," Hikari, who also helmed episodes ofTokyo Vice, said on stage next to Fraser. "That was my first place to learn English. I was the only Asian girl in the entire city, I felt like.... I had to learn English, and I had to learn the culture. So, for me, bringing somebody — American guy — to Tokyo, what does that look like? Because there's a lot of things that you learn when you're the only person in the room." Want more movie news? Hikari attended a screening ofThe Whale, the 2022 movie that won Fraser aBest Actor Oscar. During the Q&A portion, Fraser appeared via video chat because he contracted COVID-19 at the time. "He was in town, but you couldn't show up," Hikari said. "But thanks to COVID, for the first time in my life, he was on this giant screen. And when he started talking, my heart just said, 'I found my Philip.' And that was it." Speaking about his director, Fraser recently told EW, "I want you to know how unique and special she is. The importance of her vision as a filmmaker and as an artist is going to find its mark, and it's going to cause positive changes. I hope this particular film does inspire people to find a way towards accepting one another with a little bit more authenticity." Read the original article onEntertainment Weekly

Aziz Ansari breaks down in tears thanking his wife at "Good Fortune" premiere with Keanu Reeves: 'This is so embarrassing'

Aziz Ansari's feature directorial debutGood FortunestarsKeanu Reevesas a fictional angel watching over a struggling gig worker, but judging by his emotional speech at the film's world premiere, theParks and Recreationalum might've found his own angel on Earth in his wife, Serena Skov Campbell. The writer-director-star and Reeves introduced theSeth Rogen-starring film Saturday night at the 2025Toronto International Film Festival. Ansari then broke down in tears while telling the audience about his wife's support as he worked to bring the comedy to the big screen. (See video above.) "I also want to thank my wonderful wife Serena who, uh, I'm sorry," Ansari said, fighting back tears before he called her "so wonderful" to the sound of applause from the crowd at the city's Roy Thomson Hall. Arturo Holmes/Getty Ansari continued, adding that his wife "read the script before Seth or anybody, and would sit next to me in bed and read scenes with me," before he lowered his head to his hands and cried. "This is so bad. This is so embarrassing. This is so bad," the 42-year-old said, before composing himself and continuing with his introduction while Reeves stood behind him. "But, she's so wonderful. You make a movie like this or any movie, a lot of times you're away from home, and I was gone a lot for this," Ansari remembered. "We had to stop for the strike, I had to prep the movie twice, so I was away from home a lot. I got her some jewelry the other day and she's not mad. She'll probably be mad because of what I just said!" Ansari married Campbell in 2022. She works as a forensic data scientist, according to aPage Sixreport from their wedding in Italy. The couple first met in 2018, and were first photographed together in September of that year, according to the outlet. Good Fortunemarks Ansari's feature directorial debut, following the shelving of his prior attempt at a first-time directing gig. Production on the star's prior film,Being Mortal, was suspended bySearchlight Pictures in 2022after a staffer filed a complaint against actorBill Murray, alleging inappropriate behavior. Murray eventually addressed the allegationsbut didn't go into further detail about the staffer's complaint. "I did something I thought was funny, and it wasn't taken that way," the actor told CNBC at the time. "The company, the movie studio, wanted to do the right thing, so they wanted to check it all out, investigate it, and so they stopped the production." "But as of now, we're talking and we're trying to make peace with each other," he added. "We're both professionals. We like each other's work… and if you can't really get along and trust each other, there's no point in going further working together or making a movie as well." Eddy Chen/Lionsgate Back in 2018, Ansari landed in some hot water himself when an anonymous accuser publicly alleged that a date with theMaster of Nonestat left her feeling "violated" and "pressured" to engage in sexual activity with him. The comedian maintained at the time that it was "completely consensual" and that he was "surprised and concerned" to learn in a text message the next day that the woman "felt uncomfortable" with the alleged actions. Ansari was criticized for not offering a public apology, though the comedian recently toldThe Hollywood Reporterthat he "apologized to the person personally" when the allegation was made public. Good Fortunefollows Reeves as an angel, Gabriel, tasked by his boss, Martha (Sandra Oh), with stopping humans from dying while texting and driving. He then becomes engrossed in the daily life of a houseless gig worker, Arj (Ansari), who takes on an exciting prospect as the assistant to a wealthy tech bro, Jeff (Rogen), while juggling a budding romance with a former colleague (Keke Palmer). Gabriel then meddles in their lives, soul-swapping Jeff and Arj's lives so each has a chance to live the other's experience. The film will be released theatrically Oct. 17 via Lionsgate. Prince Harry back in UK, but will he see his father King Charles?New Foto - Prince Harry back in UK, but will he see his father King Charles?

By Michael Holden LONDON (Reuters) -Prince Harry returns to Britain this week amid speculation that he might visit his father, King Charles, for the first time in about 20 months in tentative steps towards a family reconciliation. On Monday, which also happens to be the third anniversary of the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, Harry will attend the WellChild Awards, an annual charity event for seriously ill children for which he is a longtime supporter and one of the rare events which bring him back to Britain. The visit has left media and royal commentators postulating that it will provide an opportunity for the 76-year-old monarch and his son to see each other and start healing their high-profile rift. "There is talk, growing talk, that he might well meet up with his father," said Simon Perry, who covers the royal family in London for People magazine. "I think with any time Prince Harry comes close or relatively close to his father, and they can be in the same country, there's going to be talk that they might well get together." Buckingham Palace says it never discusses private family matters, while Harry's spokesperson likewise declined to comment. The prince, 40, who last saw his father in February last year shortly after Buckingham Palace revealed the king was undergoing treatment for cancer, has been estranged not just from Charles but the rest of the Windsors since he and his wife Meghan left royal duties in 2020 and moved to California. SEEKING RAPPROCHEMENT Since then, in interviews, TV documentaries and his autobiography "Spare", the couple have been critical of the royal household with Harry delivering particularly barbed comments about his father and elder brother, heir Prince William. In an emotional interview in May, after he lost a legal battle with the British government over his security, Harry, the Duke of Sussex, told the BBC he wanted a rapprochement. "Of course some members my family will never forgive me for writing a book. Of course they will never forgive me for lots of things. But you know ... I would love reconciliation with my family ... there's no point in continuing to fight anymore. And life is precious," he said. "I don't know how much longer my father has. He won't speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile." In July, the king's communications chief and Harry's media representatives were pictured at a secret meeting in London in what newspapers suggested might be the first steps towards a reconciliation. "I think it's important for the image of the monarchy that the king and his younger son are seen to be on speaking terms," historian and author Anthony Seldon told Reuters. "I also think it's very important for both of them ... the king is the king, but he's also a human being and a loving father." Harry is not expected to see William, with newspapers saying the Prince of Wales was not yet ready to bury the hatchet with his brother. With 'Franz,' Agnieszka Holland Shares Her Unique View of Kafka, Informed by a Career of Outsider InsightsNew Foto - With 'Franz,' Agnieszka Holland Shares Her Unique View of Kafka, Informed by a Career of Outsider Insights

Guillermo del Toro isn't the only celebrated international filmmaker who managed to realize a decades-long passion project this year. Where Del Toro had "Frankenstein," Agnieszka Holland has "Franz," in which the Polish director pays homage to the literary hero she discovered as a teen, resulting in an unconventional biopic that's more puzzle than portrait. "Kafka has been a part of my life since I was 14, which was the first time I read his short stories, and then 'The Trial,'" remembers the "Europa Europa" helmer, who describes the popular Czech writer as a man of many paradoxes. "He was very open, but at the same time inaccessible. I had the impression that I understood him, that he was like a part of my family somehow. I even had the fantasy that I was taking care of him." More from Variety Agnieszka Holland's Kafka Biopic 'Franz' Reveals Sales to More Territories Following Toronto World Premiere (EXCLUSIVE) Channing Tatum, Derek Cianfrance Celebrate 'Roofman' at Variety's Toronto Film Festival Cover Party Toronto Title 'In Search of the Sky' Tackles Mental Health Stigma in Rural India: 'How Society Can Be So Ruthless' According to Holland, Kafka was one of the reasons she went to Prague to study. "It was to follow his path, to be in the city," she says. At the time, the Czech capital still held traces of Kafka's era; now, Prague serves almost like a shrine to the author, with an official museum and several monuments around town, which range from iconic to kitsch in her view. "He became a tourist attraction and one of the principal sources of income for the souvenir shops. And at some point, I started to be a bit angry with that." In 1981, a decade after graduating from FAMU (the famous film school that launched Czech New Wave legends Miloš Forman and Jiří Menzel), Holland adapted Kafka's "The Trial" as a teleplay for Polish TV. "That was very instructive work for me intellectually," she says. "I thought that I touched something essential about 'The Trial,' which I didn't find in other adaptations." The more Holland read about Kafka and pored over his writing (including the copious diaries and letters he left behind), the more she became convinced he was being wrongly interpreted by the world. "I realized that he is not so moody and dark, that he's very sharp, and there's a lot of humor," she explains. Holland had wanted to tell his story, but it was not until she returned to Prague to make two movies, "Burning Bush" and "Charlatan," that the opportunity presented itself. "I was sure that it could not be a traditional linear biopic," she says. "He never finished any of his novels, and somehow, it is not possible to finish the story about him or to think we captured him. And so, we decided that we would reunite the pieces, the fragments" instead. The script, co-written with Marek Epstein, incorporates Kafka's family troubles, love life and lesser-known work, as well as revealing interactions (like a telling, idealistic exchange with a street beggar), all constructed around the critical two-day reception when Kafka the man became Kafka the brand. "I'm not a scholar. I didn't want to teach people," Holland says. "We had the impression that we were doing a different movie practically every day, and stylistically, that reflects somehow. Of course, it was risky. When doing that kind of conceptual work, you never know if it will come together as a story you want to follow." The movie arrives a year after the centennial celebration of the author, allowing several other projects to capitalize on the anniversary of Kafka's death, in 1924, at age 40. But Holland, who is among the world's most politically engaged filmmakers, had no choice. Her previous film, "Green Border," deals with the almost Kafka-esque crisis at the Poland-Belarus frontier, where neither side takes responsibility for the refugees crossing there. "I see my vocation as a filmmaker is not only to tell the stories which are timeless; it's also to react on the reality which I find important in the moment, when I think that maybe it's still possible to slightly change this reality," says Holland, who describes the migration issue as "a huge challenge for the wealthy world and for the entire planet, somehow," but was alarmed by what was happening in her home country. "You see the same process in other countries of Europe and the United States as well … how easy it is to invent or name the new scapegoat [in order to] start the massive hate, which will lead to legalized violence." So Holland prioritized "Green Border." "That was a work of some urgency, which was impossible to push for later because the clock was ticking, and so we put 'Kafka' aside for one year," she says. "And now I think it was too late. I didn't stop anything, of course. I just gave to some people a reason to think and feel." To Holland, who was harshly criticized by Poland's highest authorities (the minister of justice compared her to Goebbels and Stalin) for making that film, cinema is a medium for truth-telling and reflection. "I made those movies about the Holocaust, not only to honor the victims or to remind the historical facts, but also to send some kind of warning of what humanity is capable to do," she says. "Since my movie 'Europa, Europa,' I think that the vaccination of the Holocaust is evaporating, slowly but surely, what made people say 'never again.' We are susceptible now to accept the same things that the Germans did in the mid-'30s as a final solution." Kafka died young, though so many of his Jewish relatives became victims of the Holocaust. "I was pretty sure he never would have survived that. He wasn't a survivor. He wasn't a fighter," Holland says. "He was very strong in pursuing his vocation to write, but at the same time, he was very fragile on many levels." Holland spent nearly a decade living in Los Angeles, but it was the assignment of directing episodes of "The Wire" and "Treme" that opened her eyes to the reality of Baltimore and New Orleans (she got that opportunity after making friends with producer Nina Kostroff Noble on "Shot in the Heart"). "Working on those two series enriched me very much — my knowledge of American life and the tragic problems America has," says Holland, who saw something that friends who were professors and intellectuals in the U.S. missed. "I remember the discussions with them when Donald Trump was first in the primaries, and I was watching what he was saying, and I told them, 'He will win.' "But I am not a politician," she is quick to clarify. "I think that my duty — or maybe 'duty' is to heavy a word, by like my aim — is to speak about the things that people don't want to hear, maybe, and the politicians made them hostile against the voices which are raising in defense of some values which had been widely accepted 10 years ago and now are not anymore." Comedian Jon Reep has been arrested on 10 charges of sexual exploitation of a minor. Reep was charged with one count of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor and nine counts of third degree sexual exploitation of a minor. The Hickory Police Department in North Carolina announced the comedian's arrest in astatementon Facebook on Friday. Representatives for Reep did not immediately respond toEntertainment Weekly's request for comment. Reep was scheduled to perform a stand-up show in Goldsboro, N.C., on Friday night, according to hissocial media. Rick Diamond/Getty The HPD revealed that in April the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children submitted an Internet Crimes Against Children cyber tip that reported "child sex abuse material." Paula Deen shades former detractor Anthony Bourdain after his suicide: 'Didn't like anybody, not even himself'New Foto - Paula Deen shades former detractor Anthony Bourdain after his suicide: 'Didn't like anybody, not even himself'

Paul Bruinooge/Patrick McMullan via Getty Paula Deen's new documentary follows her downfall after her headline-making N-word controversy. The film also chronicles her feud with Anthony Bourdain, who died by suicide in 2018. Deen says in the film that Bourdain "didn't like anybody, not even himself." Celebrity cookPaula Deenisn't mincing words when it comes to one of her most vocal former detractors, as the southern foodie takes a devastating swipe at the lateAnthony Bourdainin her new documentaryCanceled: The Paula Deen Story. The film, which premiered Saturday at the 2025Toronto International Film Festival, charts Deen's rise to prominence as a purveyor of deep-fried delicacies throughout the late '90s and early aughts, through to her near-career-ending 2013 scandal that saw her admit in a legal deposition (stemming from a lawsuit by a former employee of her brother's restaurant) that she "of course" used the N-word at one point in her life. Canceledalso highlights other controversies in Deen's career, including her public spats with Bourdain, the world-traveling chef andCNNtravel documentarian wholater died by suicide in 2018. "Anthony Bourdain did call me the most dangerous woman in America," Deen says in the documentary, amid flashes of archival news clips from 2011 that see journalists recounting Bourdain labeling Deen as the "worst, most dangerous person in America." Daniel Boczarski/Getty Bourdain himself is shown in the film saying, "This is not southern food she's been selling. Her brand has been all these years, novelty food." He's additionally shown slamming her paid partnership with a drug corporation to hawk diabetes medication. Deen's son, Bobby, then laments Bourdain's additional assertion that his mom's food "sucks," saying, "I think both are inaccurate," while archival footage of Deen onThe Joy Behar Showincludes her taking another swipe at Bourdain's penchant for exotic foods, quipping, "Let me tell you something, girlfriend. Maybe [my food] is bad for you, but I don't go around eating or serving unwashed anuses of wildebeests." Back in her documentary interview, Deen takes another shot at Bourdain: "I don't know what he was off in these foreign countries eating. Bat brains or something like that," she says. "I think I'll just stick with my fried chicken." Later, speaking about his death, Deen says, "God rest his soul. I felt like he didn't like anybody. Not even himself, maybe." The documentary then plays an older clip of Bourdain referencing another one of Deen's comments about him. "I like the quote, it was, 'Well, he has had his demons, I hope he had them under control.' He's probably still shooting dope, is probably what she's saying in a nice kind of southern way," Bourdain says. Deen eventually voices disappointment over their public feud, telling the documentary crew, "He started something with me, and I'd never even met him," while the film shows an older shot of Deen making a public call for Bourdain to come to her home to eat a home-cooked meal, which he never took her up on. The segment ends with another shot of Bourdain telling a journalist it would take "nuclear war" for him to agree to eat Deen's cooking. Discovery Canceledalso probes into Deen's defining controversy after she admitted in her deposition to using the N-word in the past. The headline-making incident occurred after Lisa Jackson, a white employee who previously worked at one of Deen's many restaurants in Savannah, Ga., filed a lawsuit alleging racial bias. In the suit, Jackson additionally accused Deen's brother, the late Earl W. Hiers, of sexual harassment. In August 2013, afederal judge dismissed the racial biasportion of the suit, though, in her deposition, Deen had already admitted to using the N-word in the past (which she says in the documentary stemmed from a robbery incident years prior). Fallout from the admission hit Deen's career hard, with the Food Network declining to maintain ties with her, while she lost several endorsement deals. Sign up forEntertainment Weekly's free daily newsletterto get breaking news, exclusive first looks, recaps, reviews, interviews with your favorite stars, and more. Deen maintains throughoutCanceledthat she isn't racist, and the film includes contributions from many of her associates who say that they also don't feel she has ever racially discriminated against others. At the time of the lawsuit, a spokesperson for Deen told theNew York Times, "As Ms. Deen has stated before, she is confident that those who truly know how she lives her life know that she believes in equal opportunity, kindness and fairness for everyone." Riley Keough's Emotional Personal Letter to 'Hurtful' Grandmother Priscilla Presley Revealed amid Lawsuit: 'I Have Protected You'New Foto - Riley Keough's Emotional Personal Letter to 'Hurtful' Grandmother Priscilla Presley Revealed amid Lawsuit: 'I Have Protected You'

Frazer Harrison/Getty Riley Keough allegedly told Priscilla Presley that she "protected" her from Lisa Marie Presley's threats of a lawsuit, according to a new amended complaint Keough wrote that Lisa Marie wanted to sue Priscilla "again" shortly before her death in January 2023 The filing also alleges Priscilla "manipulated" Keough with claims she "loved" her and they "needed to be a family" Riley Keough's emotional letter to her grandmotherPriscilla Presleyhas been made public in an amended lawsuit submitted this week in Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by PEOPLE. The filing, brought by Presley's former business partnersBrigitte Kruseand Kevin Fialko, accuses Presley, 80, of fraud in the inducement, breach of contract, conversion, misappropriation of name and likeness, and intentional interference with contract and prospective economic advantage. It includes dozens of exhibits, including a personal message Keough, 36, allegedly sent to her grandmother afterLisa Marie Presley's death in January 2023. "Unfortunately Nona as you are taking me to court I am being forced to defend my mother's wishes legally and publicly which would not have been my choice," Keough wrote, according to the filing. "It is really hurtful that after years of me trying to resolve your and my mother's broken relationship and restore our family, you are taking me, of all people, to court." WWD/Penske Media via Getty The letter also describes Lisa Marie's intent to pursue legal action against her mother before her death. "I have protected you from lawsuits from my mother, often advocating for you and always tried to keep everyone operating out of love," the letter reads. "Even a few weeks before my mother passed she wanted to sue you again and you called me for help. I advised her so strongly against it, which resulted in a fight between me and her. But as you know she chose to listen to me and not sue you." Meanwhile, the lawsuit filed against Presley alleges that the actress "ignored" her granddaughter Riley's "pleas, manipulating her with claims that she 'loved' her and they 'needed to be a family.'" In Keough's letter to Presley, she criticized how quickly thebattle over Lisa Marie's estateerupted following her sudden death at age 54. "I found being called about the will, less than 24 hours after my mother passed and getting emails from lawyers before my mother was even buried, incredibly heartbreaking," Keough told her grandmother. The message, labeled Exhibit 36, is presented as evidence that Lisa Marie was preparing litigation against Priscilla shortly before her death, and that Keough personally intervened to prevent it. Kruse and Fialko also allege in the amended complaint that they "sprang into action to prevent Priscilla's financial ruin and public embarrassment." The filing further describes Priscilla as a "calculated sociopath and master of deception, who has lived off of and exploited the 'Presley' name for her own personal gain." Daniele Venturelli/WireImage Inresponse to the lawsuit, Priscilla's lawyer, Marty Singer, calls it "despicable." "Priscilla did not have anything to do with the assassination of JFK, she did not cover up Area 51, she did not fake the moon landing, and she is not secretly keeping Bigfoot locked in a cabin in Canada," Singer tells PEOPLE in a statement. "Take off the aluminum foil hat and face reality," he adds. "This lawsuit concerns Ms. Presley's claims against Ms. Kruse (and her co-conspirators) in which she alleges that Ms. Kruse engaged in a relentless and calculated campaign of elder abuse and fraud in order to take control of Ms. Presley's finances for her own benefit. Ms. Kruse's allegations are absurd and despicable, but unfortunately, are not surprising. Ms. Presley looks forward to holding Ms. Kruse and her co-conspirators liable for their wrongful acts." In response, attorney Jordan Matthews of Holtz Matthews LLP, who represents Kruse and Fialko, said in a statement: "Apparently, Ms. Presley's defense is to list off nonsense hyperbolic statements that have no substance. The documents are in black and white and speak volumes. To date, Ms. Presley has presented zero evidence in support of her salacious claims, and we intend to hold her accountable for her reckless behavior." Read the original article onPeople

The Spectator's title comes from a daily publication that ran between 1711 and 1712 and, at the time, reported on trends in London. Bowie had read and taken notes on many issues, seeking inspiration for his musical. "Could be a good subplot," he labeled some essays. Courtesy of the V&A Bowie was interested in the crime and punishment aspect of the time period. One particular figure he noted was a petty thief named Jack Sheppard, along with vigilante Jonathan Wild. The "Changes" singer also made note of "surgeons fighting over corpses" following a public hanging. Another thought Bowie scribbled down was an "analogy of greed versus monarchy." The Gordon Riots and a violent gang called the Mohocks were also part of the extensive notes. The year before Bowie's death, he did work on the off-Broadway productionLazarus. He served as a writer for the jukebox musical with songs from his career, including "Changes," "Life on Mars," and "Heroes," along with deep cuts "Valentine's Day," "Always Crashing in the Same Car," and "This Is Not America." He made his final public appearanceat the opening night of the show in December 2015. "The Conjuring: Last Rites" True Story: Inside the Real Demonic Haunting That Inspired the Franchise's Final Movie

AP Photo/Wilkes-Barre Times Leader/Carolyn Bauman The Conjuring: Last Ritesis based on the alleged 1986 haunting of the Smurl family Janet and Jack Smurl claimed a demonic presence had terrorized their home and sexually assaulted Jack for over a year Ed and Lorraine Warren investigated the haunting and concluded there were four demons who terrorized their home The real account behindThe Conjuring: Last Ritesis almost as terrifying as the film itself. Released on Sept. 5, the final film in the horror franchise is set five years after the events ofThe Devil Made Me Do Itand tackles one of the most prominent real-life cases from paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. As the Warrens contemplate retiring from the demon-hunting business, a desperate Pennsylvania couple reaches out for help with a violent presence hellbent on destroying their family. Reluctantly, they agree to lend their exorcism expertise one last time. Patrick WilsonandVera Farmigahave played Ed and Lorraine, respectively, sinceTheConjuringpremiered in 2013. The franchise announced in 2022 that another installment was in the works, and Wilson confirmed withEntertainment Weeklythat it would be his last. The actor said that he didn't want his character to be "on death's door" for the final movie, considering that the real-life Ed didn't die until 2006. "But retirement was interesting to me," Wilson said in a May 2025 interview. "It was important to show the skeptics. We're not in the middle ofAmityville, when [hauntings were] everywhere. What is it like when they're not playing to big crowds? What does that do to them?" In reality, the self-professed demonologists continued their paranormal work up until their deaths (Lorraine died in 2019). One of their most prominent cases to date was that of the Pennsylvania-based Smurl family, who reached out to the Warrens in 1986 and claimed that a demonic presence had been terrorizing their home for over a year. Here's everything to know about the real-life Smurl family haunting that inspiredThe Conjuring: Last Rites. Warner Bros. Yes,The Conjuring: Last Ritesis based on the real-life alleged haunting of the Smurl family that the Warrens investigated in 1986, perPenn Live. Executive producer Peter Safran toldEntertainment Weeklythat the case had "percolated on a regular basis" as a potential plotline since the beginning of the franchise, as it's "one of the more Googleable ones." "We've known about this one for a long time," Wilson told the outlet. "Then writers are playing around with how it affects the family and what's going on in the family's life. That's where we can really theatricalize it. We're not making a documentary." AP Photo/Wilkes-Barre Times Leader/Fred Adams Jack and Janet Smurl were parents who moved into a duplex in West Pittston, Pa., with their two young daughters in 1976. Jack's parents later moved in and occupied the other half of the duplex. The couple also eventually welcomed twins. Life in the house was mostly uneventful — until one night in 1985, when a light fell from the ceiling and left their daughter, Shannon Smurl, with a gash on her forehead. Over the next year and a half, the Smurls claimed to experience a range of supernatural activity from blood-curdling screams and odd smells to witnessing their German shepherd, Simon, get thrown against the wall and their daughters pushed down the stairwell. Jack also claimed that a demonic presence had sexually assaulted him. "Up until a year ago, I thought that these type of things only happened in movies," Jack told Lorraine ina 1986 interview. "And I always felt, of course, that movies were, you know, always overstated to begin with, so I wasn't really a believer." InLast Rites, Rebecca Calder and Elliot Cowan play Janet and Jack, respectively. AP Photo/Wilkes-Barre Times Leader/Carolyn Bauman After two allegedly failed exorcisms, the Smurls decided to go public with their story in hopes of attracting more help in ridding their home of demons. They were interviewed on TV programs likeLarry King LiveandEntertainment Tonightand their alleged paranormal nightmare was covered closely by national media. Their efforts paid off in 1986, when their case caught the attention of Ed and Lorraine. The famed paranormal investigators concluded that the Smurls' home had been invaded by four spirits: an elderly woman, a young girl with the potential for violence, a man who died in the home and a demon. According to theNew England Society for Psychic Research— Ed and Lorraine's organization, now run by their daughter and son-in-law,Judy Speraand Tony Spera — the demon was using the other three spirits to "destroy" the Smurls. Ed told theTimes Leaderin 1986 that he encountered the presence during his first night in the Smurls' home and that furniture began to jump around when he tried to expel the demon with holy water, holy oil and a crucifix. "I did not have to wait moments when the very thing I felt was a drop in temperature of at least 30-some degrees," he said. "Then, a dark mass formed about three feet in front of me. There was a sound in back of me, I could hear rattling around." Warner Bros. With the help of the Warrens, the Smurls wrote a book about their story in 1986 titledThe Haunted: One Family's Nightmare. Five years later, it was adapted into a TV movie starringSally Kirkland. As for the demon, it wasn't Ed and Lorraine who allegedly rid it from the family's home but a pastor of a nearby church. Rev. Joseph Adonizio told theTimes Leaderin October 1986 that "intense prayers" are what "chased the foul smells and violent demons from the West Pittston home." However, Janet told the outlet in 1987 that she still heard knocking around her home and occasionally saw shadows. The following year, the Smurls moved to Wilkes-Barre, Pa. In 2017, Jack died from diabetes complications at the age of 75. Though his daughter, Carin Smurl, told thePocono Recordthat her dad had put their supernatural nightmare behind him, she occasionally worked as a paranormal investigator. "We had such a hard time and nobody to turn to," she told the outlet in 2017. "He was happy I was a voice out there for people who need help." Google Maps In 1987, the family put the house up for sale, per theObserver-Reporter. After they moved out, a man named Richard Bridle purchased it as a rental, but claimed to have difficulty finding a tenant because of the residence's haunted history. That same year, Debra Owens moved into the duplex in West Pittston and told theTimes Leaderthat she never encountered anything supernatural. Read the original article onPeople

Music legendGarland Jeffreysdreamed of a more inclusive, less racist society and delivered his vision via song. His mission lives on a new documentary, "Garland Jeffreys: The King of In Between," now streaming. Despite being a legendary talent, you may never have heard of Jeffreys, now 82, who retired from performing in 2019. But some big musical names you have heard of revere him.Bruce Springsteen, in the documentary, places Jeffreys in "the great singer-songwriter tradition of Dylan and Neil Young ... one of the American greats." Others who sing his praise in the film: guitaristVernon Reid(Living Colour), actorHarvey Keitel, musiciansGraham ParkerandAlejandro Escovedo, as well asLaurie Anderson, widow of the lateLou Reed(he's seen in photos and heard in the movie, too). Reed, a New Yorker like Jeffreys, "Lou really admired Garland, as well as loved him," Anderson says in the film. Jacob Elordi plays the Creature in Guillermo del Toro's take on "Frankenstein." Check out our exclusive peeks at Netflix's monster movie and all the other new films you need to see in theaters and on streaming services this fall. Radiohead:Band announces first tour dates since 2018: See the dates and how to get tickets The film is still playing some festivals; the schedule is onthe movie's website. But it recently became available for streaming onAmazon Prime Video,Apple TV,Google PlayandYouTube(rental prices start at $2.99). Born in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, the son of mixed race parents – Jeffreys is part Black, part Puerto Rican and part white – he met Reed at Syracuse University and began performing in the late 1960s. His 1973 self-titled debut, which included the song "Wild in the Streets," and the 1976 album "Ghost Writer" were both critically acclaimed. "In the late 1970s, many of music's top tastemakers felt sure Garland Jeffreys would become the next big thing," notedRolling Stone storyin a June 5, 2025 on the documentary. Five decades ago, the magazine named Jeffreys "the most promising artist " of 1977. But Jeffreys' music, a mélange of rock, R&B, reggae, soul, folk, dance music and even doo-wop, made him a tough fit for record labels looking for artists easy to categorize. He considered himself the "king of in between" and went on to use that as a title for a 2011 album. His 1981 highly acclaimed "Escape Artist" album yielded the single "96 Tears," a cover of the 1966 song by ? and the Mysterians, which earned Jeffreys a top 100 hit in the U.S. Another song on the album, "R.O.C.K.," also earned airplay. Jeffreys continued to put out albums, with 2017's "14 Steps To Harlem," his most recent release. While promoting the album at the South By Southwest Festival that year, he toldUSA TODAY, "You are looking at a guy who is eternally grateful. I've been blessed. I could cry over it." Despite those early career accolades, Jeffreys never broke through to the mainstream – an artist ahead of his time – instead becoming a revered underground legend. But his music is still relevant today and the documentary can elevate his legacy. With his songs about race and social issues, Jeffreys told USA TODAY he hoped to help "to facilitate a change. … I think I have done some good work. People have told me how grateful they are, white people and black people." Jeffrey's album "Don't Call Me Buckwheat," released in 1992, "could've come out 30 minutes ago," Springsteen says in the film. There's also footage of the two performing together at Christmas concerts fundraisers for Asbury Park, New Jersey. "I don't know anybody who was writing about race as directly as Garland was in the early '90s." Literally a labor of love, the documentary is directed by Jeffreys' wife Claire. (Full disclosure: this reporter made a minor crowdfunding donation to the film after interviewing Jeffreys.) Among its co-executive producers: filmmaker Samuel Pollard ('4 Little Girls' and 'When the Levee Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts'), Steven Van Zandt and wife Maureen, and the Jeffreys' daughter Savannah, who also appears in the film. During filming, Jeffreys' health declined; he's in the late stages of Alzheimer's Disease at his Manhattan home. "It's almost as if his decline has kept pace with the completion of the film, and now that it's streaming, he doesn't have any grasp of how well it's being received," Claire Jeffreys told USA TODAY. Response to the film has been "fantastic, with lots of fans streaming it, and taking the time to communicate their appreciation and how much they enjoyed it," she said. As Springsteen is seen saying, "a powerful story well told does not go away so easily or so quickly. It remains even if it's in the shadows. ... People find that kind of work and are drawn to it." How romance and a road trip led to the purchase of the world's oldest drive-in theaterNew Foto - How romance and a road trip led to the purchase of the world's oldest drive-in theater

OREFIELD, Pa. (AP) — In a romance and adventure worthy of the big screen, a Pennsylvania couple is preserving the past and forging a future as the owners of the world's oldest operating drive-in movie theater. Lauren McChesney got more than admission to a double feature when she handed her ticket to Matt McClanahan at a different drive-in he managed in 2018. They started dating a year later, and, in August, got engaged. In between, they purchased Shankweiler's Drive-In Theatre, which was Pennsylvania's first drive-in and only the nation's second when it opened in 1934. The couple began brainstorming about drive-ins during a cross-country road trip that included stops at both operational and abandoned theaters. Their original goal was to open a new drive-in, but when they learned Shankweiler's might get sold to developers, "the light bulb went off," McClanahan said. "Why are we spending so much time trying to build one when there's one literally down the road from our house that's for sale and is like the most important drive-in?" he said. The drive-in movie theater industry began in Camden, New Jersey, in 1933 and peaked in the late 1950s, with more than 4,000 drive-ins, according to the United Drive-In Theatre Owners Association. The numbers dropped rapidly in the 1970s and 80s as other entertainment options increased, along with land values that made selling for redevelopment attractive. Though popular during the pandemic, by 2024, there were only 283 left, according to the association. McClanahan, 35, who grew up going to Shankweiler's, had managed another drive-in and started a mobile movie business during the coronavirus pandemic. In contrast, McChesney, 41, had never been to a drive-in before 2018, and she left a stable corporate job in the health care industry to take on this new venture. Buying Shankweiler's was a risk for both of them — they pooled their savings and secured a $1 million loan to buy the drive-in in 2022 — but one they say has paid off. "This was an undertaking that was leaps and bounds bigger than anything I'd ever done in my life, in terms of investment, monthly expenses, and debt," McClanahan said. "It still feels surreal when I think about it." They've built a successful business with the help of strong summer attendance, the occasional big-name film like "Wicked," and special events like Valentine's Day "date night" screenings of "The Notebook." The drive-in is open seven days a week from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and Thursdays through Sundays the rest of the year. Tickets are $9 for children and $13 for adults. Ken Querio, 52, of Kutztown, Pennsylvania, has been going to Shankweiler's since he was a teenager. He made a point to seek out the owners before a recent viewing of "Jaws." "I actually thanked them," he said. "It's wonderful to have an old-school, an old venue like this still going." Wilson Shankweiler, a prominent hotel owner and movie buff, opened what was then called Shankweiler's Park-In Theatre on April 15, 1934. McClanahan and McChesney are its fourth owners. McChesney said the success of the business played a role in the timing of their engagement. "We knew we'd eventually get married, but we kept doing other things instead, like starting businesses and buying movie theaters," she said. ____ Associated Press writer Holly Ramer in Concord, New Hampshire, contributed to this report.

The Oscar-winning actress revealed Friday night at the film's world-premiere screening at the 2025Toronto International Film Festivalthat, after boarding thePaul Greengrass-directed project alongside producerJason Blumin 2021, she wanted to meet with the real-life people who inspired the film's story. Curtis recalled to the audience her first meeting with the real Kevin McKay (McConaughey), a bus driver who, alongside teacher Mary Ludwig (America Ferrera), navigated to safety a school bus packed with children during California's deadly 2018 Camp Fire. Dia Dipasupil/Getty She said McKay informed her of "the last happy memory" he had with his mother prior to the fire, which he said involved taking his mom out to see Curtis in 2018'sHalloweensequel. "That was very moving," Curtis observed. "Immediately, I felt a kinship. Then, I spoke to Mary. Mary was much more guarded than Kevin. Kevin was gregarious. Mary was a little more concerned." Curtis remembered that Ludwig, too, recalled a "weird connection" to the actress. "She said, 'My father dated your mother.' [I asked], 'For real?' I said, 'Where?' She said, 'Merced, Calif.," Curtis recounted. "Now, you guys know my mother as Janet Leigh, but before she was Janet Leigh, she was Jeanette Helen Morrison from Merced, Calif., and Mary Ludwig's father dated Jeanette." The audience inside the city's Princess of Wales theater gasped at Curtis' admission, with the performer noting that the connection surprised her as well. Curtis stressed that "this moment with Kevin and Mary was born from something much bigger," and celebrated "the fact that we're all here together with you at the world premiere of a movie about their story told by a master produced by a master, is just a thrilling, weird, connect-the-dots [moment]" before the event ended. Hundreds of ordinary mourners and VIPs pay last respects to Italian fashion icon Giorgio ArmaniNew Foto - Hundreds of ordinary mourners and VIPs pay last respects to Italian fashion icon Giorgio Armani

MILAN (AP) — Hundreds of ordinary admirers and VIPs paid their last respects Saturday toGiorgio Armani, remembered by Milan's mayor as a "man of extraordinary elegance" who left an indelible mark on the city and the global fashion world. Armanidied Thursday at 91 at his home in central Milan surrounded by loved ones. His fashion house said he worked up to the end. One of his final projects was a runway show marking 50 years of his signature Giorgio Armani brand, which is due to close Milan Fashion Week later this month. Mourners filed into the Armani Theater, where Armani regularly showed his ready-to-wear runway collections. Rows of candles in paper bags cast a shimmering light and piano music by Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi played softly in the background. The closed coffin was adorned with a bouquet of long-stem white roses, and flanked by carabinieri honor guards in ceremonial dress. Among them was including Donatella Versace, who wore a dark skirt suit and carried a bouquet of white flowers, which she left in tribute. She left without making any remarks. A sculpture featuring a crucifix on a raw block of marble stood nearby, brought from Armani's bedside. Armani, who was deeply private, was not known to be a practicing Catholic, but a priest who emerged from his central Milan home after his death told reporters that he attended Mass daily. Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sala was among the first to arrive, offering condolences to Leo Dell'Orco, Armani's longtime collaborator and the head of menswear, who stood near the coffin. "A man of extraordinary elegance,'' Sala told reporters outside. "Milan is full of signs of Armani. It will be impossible to forget him." Sala remembered a phone call from Armani in early August, when news of a corruption scandal in the city broke. "He said, 'I understand this is a difficult moment. There is always something positive in difficult moments. True friends show themselves. I am your true friend.' This I will always remember,'' Sala said. Annamaria Longo Dorni traveled more than two hours from Lago Maggiore, north of Milan, to pay her last respects wearing an Armani midnight blue jacket for the occasion. "You put it on, and you're perfect,'' she said in tribute. "It's always up to date, even after 20 years.'' Two hours after the doors opened, the line of mourners stretched down the block. The public viewing will continue through Sunday. Armani will be buried following a private funeral, details of which remain private. Milan is home to numerous Armani landmarks, including his theater and the Armani/Silos museum — an exhibition space in the heart of the city's design district — as well as his residence and historic offices in the city center, and his flagship stores and hotel. He was also a major supporter of cultural institutions, like Milan's Teatro alla Scala, and owned the Olympia Milan basketball team. A prominent permanent Emporio Armani billboard greets passengers arriving at Milan's Linate Airport, and the brand has long occupied a permanent billboard in Milan's Brera district, emblematic of Armani's game-changing approach to communications. Armani, one of the most recognizable names and faces in the global fashion industry, missed Milan Fashion Weekin June 2025 for the first time during the previews of Spring-Summer 2026 menswear to recover from an undisclosed condition. Condolenceshave poured in from friends and admirers around the world, including Ralph Lauren, Julia Roberts, Anna Wintour and Leonardo DiCaprio. Armani prepared a final farewell for mourners. A photo of the designer smiling and waving was projected on the back wall of the viewing chamber with the parting words: "The mark I hope to leave is one of commitment, respect and genuine care for people and for reality. That's where everything truly begins."

'The Lost Bus' Heats Up TIFF: Matthew McConaughey and America Ferrera Deliver in Harrowing Wildfire ThrillerNew Foto - 'The Lost Bus' Heats Up TIFF: Matthew McConaughey and America Ferrera Deliver in Harrowing Wildfire Thriller

The world premiere of "The Lost Bus," the latest Apple Original Film from director Paul Greengrass, debuted to strong audience response and early awards speculation Friday night at the Toronto International Film Festival. The gripping survival thriller dramatizes the real-life story of a school bus driver and teacher who guided 22 children to safety during the devastating 2018 Camp Fire in Northern California. More from Variety Sydney Sweeney Fights Her Way Into the Oscar Race at Rousing TIFF World Premiere of 'Christy': 'I'm Gonna Cry!' Eli Roth and Snoop Dogg to Produce Horror Movie 'Don't Go in That House, Bitch!' Matthew McConaughey on 'The Lost Bus,' Nicolas Cage in 'True Detective' and What It Will Take to Play Rust Cohle Again: 'Fire and Originality' Based on journalist Lizzie Johnson's non-fiction book Paradise: One Town's Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire, "The Lost Bus" recounts a perilous journey through flames that claimed 85 lives and destroyed more than 18,000 structures. Sparked by faulty electrical transmission lines and fueled by high winds, the Camp Fire scorched over 150,000 acres and nearly wiped the town of Paradise off the map. Matthew McConaughey stars as Kevin McKay, a down-on-his-luck school bus driver who rises to the occasion as fire bears down on the community. America Ferrera plays Mary Ludwig, a teacher who refuses to leave her students behind. Together, the two lead a tense evacuation effort that becomes a race against time and an encroaching inferno. McConaughey, returning to an impressive lead dramatic role, delivering a performance that blends vulnerability and resolve. He found a deep connection with the material and with Greengrass' style. "There was a line that Paul came up with that said it all to me," McConaughey shared. "Kevin says, 'I was too late as a son and now I'm too late as a father.'" Ferrera, fresh off her Oscar-nominated supporting turn in "Barbie," brings warmth and grit to a character based on a real educator. She brings her signature passion, and paid homage to the real-life Mary in the audience, calling it "a great honor" to portray her. Together, the chemistry between the two lead stars anchors the film's emotional core. "This story is not just about fire — it's about courage, choices and the instinct to protect," Greengrass said during a post-screening Q&A. Known for "United 93" and "Captain Phillips," the director once again leans into his signature documentary-style realism, crafting a claustrophobic, fast-moving thriller that rarely lets up. Greengrass co-wrote the screenplay with Brad Ingelsby, creator of HBO's "Mare of Easttown." The film leans heavily into practical effects, with real fire used wherever feasible to amplify authenticity. Cinematographer Pal Ulvik Rokseth uses handheld cameras to capture the chaos, while James Newton Howard's emotional score and immersive sound design add to the tension. Festival audiences responded with emotional intensity, including visible tears and audible gasps during the screening. Intense can barely describe it. I cried and could barely breathe. This is filmmaking at its most visceral. The supporting cast includes Yul Vazquez as a fire chief, Ashlie Atkinson as a local resident, Spencer Watson and Danny McCarthy as first responders. In a personal touch, McConaughey's real-life son, Levi, and his mother, Kay McConaughey, appear as his character's family members. The project was first announced in 2022 with Jamie Lee Curtis producing for Comet Pictures and Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions also on board. Curtis revealed during the Q&A that she discovered Johnson's story while listening to NPR. In an additional personal connection, Curtis noted that her mother, legendary actress Janet Leigh, once dated the real Mary Ludwig's father. Johnson, a San Francisco Chronicle reporter who covered the fire, served as a consultant on the film to ensure factual accuracy. "The Lost Bus" has the goods to draw admirers into the Oscar conversation. While some critics see it as a potential long-shot best picture nominee, the can be considered a strong contender in technical categories, including sound, editing and original score. Performances by McConaughey and Ferrera are also impressive, but not the type that Oscar typically recognizes from films like this. Apple will release "The Lost Bus" in select theaters Sept. 19, with streaming to follow on Apple TV+ starting Oct. 3. Down below are some online reactions. Clarissa Rocco: "#TheLostBus with Matthew McConaughey and America Ferrera is a thrill ride from start to finish. At times, it feels like you're driving through hell. Absolutely worth the watch."
