Eric Dane walked the red carpet on Wednesday, months after the "Grey's Anatomy" starpublicly disclosed his ALS diagnosis. The actor appeared on the carpet to promote his new Amazon project, called "Countdown," andtold Varietythat he was feeling "good." "It's nice to be here with everybody and see the hours and hours of work that we put into this come alive on screen," the 52-year-old said. He also gave an update on shooting for the third season of HBO's hit show, "Euphoria," and reaffirmed his stance that he is going to keep working. "It always feels great to be on a set. It's great to be employed," he told Variety. "I love what I give. I'm going to keep doing it." Dane walked the carpet with hisrumored love,Janell Shirtcliff. The actor and filmmaker have been photographed together before, but Wednesday night marked their first official red carpet appearance. Dane is still technically married to his wife and mother of his two teenage daughters, fellow actor Rebecca Gayheart. Gayheart filed for divorce from the actor back in 2018, but later filed to dismiss in March 2025, just one month before Dane made his ALS diagnosis public. Dane opened up about his relationship with Gayheart in a recentinterview with "Good Morning America,"saying that he talks to her "every day." "We have managed to become better friends and better parents," he told Diane Sawyer. "And she is probably my biggest champion, my most stalwart supporter, and I lean on her."
