On June 14, the Princess of Wales, 43, was spotted arriving by car alongside Prince William and their children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7. Louis sat in between his parents in the back while his older siblings sat in front as the family of five made their way to the ceremonial parade in London. Kate opted for an aquamarine coatdress from Catherine Walker with a matching wide-brimmed hat by Juliette Botterill. She also wore earrings from the late Queen Elizabeth. This year's Trooping is the third ofKing Charles' reign — and a milestone moment for Kate as well. In March 2024, Kate revealed she had been diagnosed with cancer followingabdominal surgeryearlier that year. It was her first official public outing in six months, riding in a carriage alongside her three children and later standing with the royal family on the Buckingham Palace balcony, visibly touched by the overwhelming support from the public. In September 2024, Kate shared that she hadcompleted chemotherapy, and on January 14 — the same day she made anunannounced visit to The Royal Marsden Hospital— she announced she was in remission. It was also revealed that she had received care at the Royal Marsden and wasnamed joint patron of the NHS Foundation TrustalongsidePrince William. "It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focussed on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead," Princess Kate said in part in astatementat the time. "There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support." The Princess of Wales has since resumed a regular schedule of royal duties, undertaking solo outings and meaningful visits with William. "She is the MVP of the royal family, and no one knew when she was going to come back," royal historian Amanda Foremanpreviously told PEOPLE about how Princess Kate is reclaiming her royal role.
