The reason for her exit was not explained, and it is unclear whether Escobar was removed from the villa prior to the episode's filming or if the editors just cut her out of it. Escobar has faced intense online backlash since joining the show. In podcast clips obtained byTMZ, she is heard using the n-word three separate times while discussing ex-boyfriends. Prior to her exit from the villa, fans took to social media and left hundreds of comments promising to vote her off the island once voting became available on theLove Islandapp. "America this is your chance to finally getting the voting right," wrote one fan under her cast announcement on the show's Instagram account. Another added, "Get her out of my villa." This is not the first incident of aLove Island USAcast member being caught using racist language. Season 6'sHannah Smithwas arrested outside of a Gracie Abrams concert in September after going on aracially-charged tiradeand threatening to kill a police officer.
