Renna shared the exciting news with a post onInstagram, saying that the newest addition to the family arrived on July 2. Her name is Lily June Renna. In it, the baby was dressed in a cozy pink onesie with a matching bow on her head. In another picture, Renna stared at the camera while cradling the newborn in one arm as they rested together. Another snapshot showed Jasmin out for a walk with Lily strapped to her chest. The mom of three was casually dressed in black leggings and sneakers, finishing off her outfit with sunglasses and a hat. One final picture was of Lily with her older brothers —Liam, 5, andFlynn, 8. Dad is … how much time you got?" The happy family exclusively told PEOPLE thatLily was on the wayin February. At the time, Renna and his wife were already aware that they'd be having a baby girl. However, thanks to a mix-up, they initially thought that a third son was on the way. "We were convinced we were having our third boy because I mistakenly looked at our second son's test results from 2020. Whoops!" the actor explained. "So, for two weeks, we were all set on welcoming another little guy — until the doctor called and told us the real news." He continued, saying, "Finding out we're having a baby girl was the best surprise, and my wife, our two boys, and I couldn't be more excited to meet her." During the interview, he praised Jasmin for being an "incredible mother" and an "amazing partner and wife." How would he rate his performance as a dad? "I call myself like a C-plus, B-minus dad," he joked with PEOPLE. "I'm not the worst, but I got some learning to do — that's for sure." In the pictures, they all matched in classic blue jeans and cream shirts. Jasmin's oversized sweatshirt read "Mama To Be." Renna made his acting debut inThe Sandlotin 1993,playing Hamilton "Ham" Porterin the classic baseball movie. For the film's 30th anniversary in 2023, the child star reflected on the memories he made with his costars on set. "Some of the guys,Marty [York] and Victor [DiMattia], are quite close and they've sort of stayed in touch over all the years. But I see them a couple times a year, and it's like no time has passed and we just jump right back into it." He added, "We're close, for sure. We all share this great moment in history together."
